The reason behind SOXNA

Why We Exist.

SOXNA was born from a clear gap in beauty: too few brands were creating thoughtful bodycare for the concerns women of color experience most. Africa has a centuries-long legacy of sophisticated body rituals, and we believe the next generation of solutions should be shaped by the people who understand these concerns firsthand. We are redefining A-Beauty beyond botanicals—uniting cultural knowledge, modern innovation, research-led formulation, and radical transparency in bodycare that feels as chic as it is intentional.

Reintroducing A-Beauty

African beauty is more than raw botanicals. We are translating a rich legacy of bodycare knowledge into a modern category built for today’s routines, concerns, and ambitions.

Science-Backed Formulation

Our formulas begin with research, expert guidance, and purposeful ingredients. Every format is developed to address real body-skin needs with intention—not hype.

Modern Products

We are expanding what African bodycare can look like through elevated washes, foams, oils, treatments, and body patches designed to feel effective, innovative, and desirable.

Community Building

SOXNA is being built with the people it exists to serve. We want to share what we learn, listen openly, and create a transparent space where women of color feel seen in bodycare.
